I was a little hesitant to buy these given the price, but I sure am I glad I bit the bullet. Pounding the rocks all day on the railroad is tough on your feet. These are the best I have bought for work. Not a long break in period, feel great, and seem to be tough but comfy. I’ve only had them for a month so I’m not sure the durability on these just yet. You may change the insoles, but for what they are they’re fine for me. I will eventually get insoles because I like certain insoles.

This is the best boot for the rough railroad elements. Heat, cold, snow, water, mud, ice. The SRF punishes.
